Box breathing :<\/strong><br>\nInhale- 4 counts ; Hold \u2013 4 counts<br>\nExhale -4 counts ; Retain \u2013 4 counts<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do for 5 rounds.<\/strong><br>\nThis is recommended for adult age group.<br>\nThose with high BP , pregnancy ,heart conditions AVOID .. due to breath retention in this practise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>3. Anulom- Vilom: ( alternate nostril breathing<\/strong><br>\nClose right nostril with right hand<br>\nKeep left hand on the thighs.<br>\n<strong>Inhale <\/strong>from <strong>Left <\/strong>(4 counts ) , close left , <strong>Exhale <\/strong>from <strong>Right <\/strong>(4 counts), <strong>Inhale <\/strong>from <strong>Right <\/strong>(4 counts ) and <strong>Exhale <\/strong>from <strong>Left <\/strong>(4 counts).<br>\nThis is one complete round.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do 5 rounds in total .<\/strong><br>\nThis practise is generally safe as no retention of breathe<br>\nchoose your counts start with 4 and gradually as u progress in practise u can increase the counts.<br>\nThis is recommended for adults.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blog_box\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone res_mb15 size-full wp-image-92\" src=\"https:\/\/theyogashalapreeti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/thum.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1466\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>4. Brahmari :<\/strong> humming bee <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone res_mb15 size-full wp-image-92\" src=\"https:\/\/theyogashalapreeti.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Screenshot-2026-03-17-172518.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"30\" height=\"33\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>Close the ears gently with nasikgra rudra or 1st finger.<br>\nWith one inhalation start with humming sound (hmmmmmmm) as long as u can.<br>\nIncrease the intensity of sound with every round.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do minimum 5- 10 rounds for best results.<\/strong><br>\nThis is best pranayam for all age groups .<br>\nSafe for kids also .<br>\nonce u finish stay there for while to allow body to absorb the vibrations<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><strong>NOTE :<\/strong><br>\nFor all pranayama mentioned above keep the following poi<\/h4>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> The stomach must be empty so morning practices are good .<br>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> Keep 3-4 hours gap if you had food .<br>\n3. Sit in upright position.<br>\n4. Do not sit under fan or a\/c for breathing practices.<br>\n5. Wear comfortable clothing.<br>\n<strong>6.<\/strong> After every pranayama pause for a while for pranayama to work wihin.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Above are 4 highly recommended pranayama at all.times . Once you grow in your practises then can learn other pranayama under guidance of authorised yoga teacher .<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4>he above spring\/summer is specific to India and tropical countries as we experience good sun during this period.
